Zcash’s founders finally unveiled new crypto and financial education movement named Crypto in Context program saying that the new program is a global effort with more events upcoming in the near future so let’s read more in the Zcash analysis today.
The Electric Coin Company, Zcash’s founders unveil the crypto and financial educational movement, as the growth Vice President Josh Swihart confirmed:
“It is a global effort. We’ve already supported pilots for Syrian refugees in Turkey, for Arabic speakers across Europe and the Middle East, and for students in Nigeria.”
The ECC announced the launch on July 29 in a blog post saying this is a way to bring crypto education to regions that could not have the power or tools necessary to achieve the financial activity away from the government and mainstream currency and control. The ECC program aims to educate, assist, and offer fellowships in regions on the ins and outs of crypto that are already hosting a number of sizeable crypto industry players within the sector. Swihart said:
“The initial set of partners include Gemini, Flexa, Reciprocity Trading, Messari, Binance, LocalBitcoins, DCG and LEANLAB Education. We expect to announce a few other partners in the coming months.”
By completing the number of events including one in New York, the ECC crypto in Context program aims to create additional events in the upcoming months as Swihart detailed:
“We are planning the next workshop for the Arabic speaking community in Europe at the end of September, planning another for students in New York City later this year, and recruiting and meeting with various community leaders around the world to plan subsequent workshops.”
Swihart pointed to the Electric Coin Company’s website for leaders that want to be involved as the crypto industry participants have often posited BTC as a hedge against the traditional financial systems and now with the new opportunity, blockchain education thanks to Zcash will provide the regions with more knowledge of the same hedging opportunities.
Zcash’s privacy features came into question again as one Twitter user under the name Money Knowledge0 challenged the “friendly attackers” to trace his Zcash transactions that are deemed private. One simple ZEC transaction was traced in real-time this week which shows that the privacy model of this cryptocurrency failed but it also shows that some Zcash transactions are easy to be traced.
