VET Payments Will Now Be Available In WooCommerce Shops

VeChain introduced VET payments now available on ThorCommerce which is a Thor plugin that will make it possible for merchants on WooCommerce to easily convert fiat currencies to VET, as we are reading in the VET price news.

More than 4 million merchants on the WooCommerce platform will be able to easily accept VET payments which are the native cryptocurrency of the VeChain network. VeriARti is a digital marketplace focused on art and collectibles which created a plugin that allows any merchant on WooCommerce to accept VET. Based on the Thor blockchain, VeriArti was working on implementing an option for users to buy the platform’s non-fungible token with VET:

 “However, as we were making one for ourselves, we thought why not make a generic one that all 4m WooCommerce shops can integrate if they choose.’’

As per the Vechain news, the company now has officially introduced ThorCommerce V.1 which is an automatic fit to VET conversion tool that the users can use and integrate into any WooCommerce shop. The plugin will allow the merchants to accept payments in VET and the addresses and QR code will be displayed at the checkout page so the customers’ order status will be automatically updated in the shop. Merchants will also be able to decide if they want to profit from VET transactions and they will be easily adjusted the percentage of VET related to their fiat cost.

The merchants can choose to offer discounts for users that will pay in VET so VeriARTI explained in the announcement that the ThorCommerce plugin has been uploaded to the WordPress repository and will go live by the end of the week. The company explained that the payments in VeThor tokens will be enabled in the V.2 of the plugin. It will also be free to use as the company stated. WooCommerce merchants now accept more than 50 different cryptocurrencies and stablecoins as the number of crypto payments plugins keep increasing.

Currently, the company is facing a position where new board members have to be elected.
