Tezos and Microsoft will work together to boost the startup industry in India. The innovation management company Lumos Labs specializes in technology and has now created the “Century Program” in cooperation with Microsoft. Tech Mahindra will join the force as well and the KODA AUTO division as well as TEzos India so they can focus on the Indian-based startup blockchain space. The goal is to “evangelize, heal and unearth” 100 solutions that are based on the blockchain with specific industrial applications. Let’s find out in the latest TEzos news today.
Launched in October, The Century Program will be supported by the Tezos platform so the teams of the selected solutions will get tools and guides to implement their application on the XTZ blockchain. The program will last about 18 months and with Tezos’ support, participants will have the chance to interact with important players in the industry. Microsoft for example will provide activities and monitoring to enhance marketing and other resources with the state-of-the-art technology according to the announcement.
The goal of the program is to resolve business-related obstacles, challenges, and issues as the program will also seek blockchain solutions for applications in oil, natural gas, commerce, finance, health care, telecommunications, manufacturing, entertainment, and the public sector. Microsoft’s General Manager for Azure commercial industry, Sanjay Anand said:
“The Century Program will accelerate possibilities to create great enterprise solutions for blockchain in India by scaling existing competencies, surmounting awareness bias, and making blockchain more mainstream across various sectors. Partners like Tech Mahindra, ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab India and Tezos India will further help strengthen the blockchain adoption immensely by highlighting the secured, interoperable, and scalable environment that this technology provides. Microsoft is delighted to be able to provide the right platform to make this happen.”
The new collaboration between Tezos and Microsoft will help boost the startup sector in India as the report by Nasscom Avansant India said that the service providers in the country still need to improve their capabilities as the president of Tezos Om Malviya said, this association will boost achievements and push the industry to the head of innovation.
The collaboration with Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, Skoda Auto, and Lumos Labs for the Century Program is a step in the right direction. The next 18 months, will be quite exciting for the entire Indian blockchain ecosystem especially for startups, developers, and enterprises alike.
