A new declaration from TD Ameritrade, the famous online broker, tells that the company has no firm position on the question of adding or not XRP to its platform, which sparks speculations in the XRP’s community about the possibility of the adding and the future of the coin as we are about to read further in the XRP news.
The mainstream adoption of crypto did not stop, quite contrary it continues and there are many that expect the ’20s of this century will be the most important for the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies. With the value of every victory, small and big being important, there is a multitude of speculation in regard to the next developments. The speculation grew lately concretely when the well-known online broker known as TD Ameritrade tweeted a tweet that XRP fans made believe that it’s a confirmation about the company’s interest in the cryptocurrency.
The company that has the worth of $1 trillion, caught the attention of the cryptocurrency sector after being bought by another company named Charles Schwab Corporation, that is a well-known major investment management firm. This action made it the first-ever conventional asset management company enter the cryptocurrency market by virtue of the introduction of Bitcoin (BTC) futures products.
From then, the brokerage company noted a huge demand for in bitcoin futures. Also, it invested a sum, that is not small by any standards, in ErisX, a cryptocurrencies trading platform, signaling that itself could offer crypto trading in the future. But the firm is not interested to deny that it has plans of that sort, and when it was some time ago asked if it plans to support crypto coins like XRP, the official response was that they will ‘continue to monitor the market and consider additional opportunities going forward.’
In another tweet, the company said that it is studying the XRP performance and that the parties that have an interest in them supporting this particular coin should be woke and tuned for new information. This is a tweet posted more than a year ago, on December 11th, 2018. As TD Ameritrade, did not confirm whatsoever in connection to the potential inclusion of XRP, it still seeds hope in investors that the cryptocurrency could be put on the list of the company in the near future.
