One of the fastest growing blockchain startups, Circle Invest, has recently added Monero (XRM) to the list of digital assets available on the platform. The firm has officially confirmed the news in a blog post on Monday this week.
With this, Monero becomes the second privacy-focused coin that is added in a row. In April this year, Circle Invest introduced ZCash onto its platform, saying traders and users are able to undertake purchases in the coin.
The blockchain company then stated:
“You will now be able to enjoy instant purchases, no minimums and a seamless investing experience on Zcash and our five existing crypto assets.”
With the new news about Monero, the Circle Invest senior project manager Rachel Mayer stated:
“Last week, we welcomed Zcash to the coin family on Circle Invest. Today, we continue to grow our coin collection by supporting Monero (XRM) as our new listed crypto asset.”
This means that the Circle Invest platform now supports seven coins. Mayer says that this makes it “the only platform you can invest in instantly and seamlessly in the widest breadth of coins by using your bank account.”
With this, Circle becomes the first mainstream brokerage that adds support for Monero (XRM) which also caused some people to think about potential dark web activities. Monero’s trading volume has peaked at around $40,5 million in the past seven days and the coin lost ground, falling in value against the US dollar by 7.23%.
