The HTC Corporation recently announced their partnership with Litecoin and its co-founder, Charlie Lee – with him being the advisor to HTC Exodus which will be the new native blockchain smartphone delivered by the Taiwanese electronics giant.
News about the smartphone has spread like wildfire on the social networks.
One small step for @SatoshiLite. One giant leap for blockchain.

Meanwhile, the HTC Exodus will be the first native blockchain phone in the world. It is currently slated for release in the third quarter of 2018 and according to HTC, every device will be a node which will allow users to own their identity and data by having both on their devices (instead of being present on a centralized cloud).
On top of this, every HTC Exodus will come with a cold storage wallet meant for storage of cryptocurrencies.
Principles of the HTC Exodus:
1. Hold your own keys
2. Own your identity & data

Still, the detailed specifications about the HTC Exodus are not yet confirmed or made public. While originally it was thought that the smartphone will support Bitcoin and Ethereum, now things are taking a twist in a different way and the co-founder of Litecoin, Charlie Lee, recently confirmed that the support has been expanded and will include Litecoin as the 7th largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
Met the HTC Exodus team last week and was really excited to hear the phone will support LTC and Lightning Network on Litecoin natively! I will be an advisor as I see having a secure crypto phone that makes LN simple is needed for mass adoption.
P.S. No, they will not remove BTC. https://t.co/WQcygPVst0

The HTC Exodus will also bring decentralized applications (dApps) to mobile devices – which was confirmed by HTC earlier this month after their official partnership with CryptoKitties which is a dApp on the Ethereum network that allows the game to be released on future devices from HTC.
