EOS Cannot rely on Block. One for proper support anymore according to the CEO of the EOS foundation Yves La Rose so let’s read more in our latest EOS news today.
La Rose who is the founder of the EOS Network Foundation discussed the project’s future and its stance on the relationship EOS has with Block. One while also outlining how it can move ahead. Earlier this year he stepped down as the CEO of EOS nation and while speaking today, he revealed some interesting thoughts on the relationship between Block. One and EOS. According to him, it is now obvious that the company pretends to add value to EOS but then fails to support or catalyze any bigger meaningful development which is why EOS cannot rely on it anymore.
They moved away from wanting to contribute and their EOS is a bigger liability than it is an asset. In what seems to be a call of breaking ties between these two entities, La Rose outlined that Block. One is creating more challenges in terms of overall community perception. The bigger blockcahin ecosystem sees EOS as Block.one but if Block. One is fraudulent, then EOS is also fraudulent. The reality for users in the EOS ecosystem is that we reached a consensus and agreed with this assessment but they were both negligent and overstated the capabilities.
La Rose argued that this separation is needed for branding and a narrative shift has to take place which is why the new entity is better suited to run these operations. He also noted that the EOS Network Foundation is what he thinks to be best for the cryptocurrency especially when it comes to taking matters into its own hands. He noted:
“When I decided to pursue the launch of the EOS Network Foundation back in August, I did so with the mindset that the EOS community needed to take matters into its own hands to move towards a future where EOS regains leadership within the greater blockchain ecosystem.”
I'm not here to be liked. I'm here to do a job and guide $EOS into the future. Whether you like me or not, I still have a job to do. My resolve is absolute. Enough time spent walking on eggshells. Moving forward.

Yves La Rose talked about the four main pillars of the project’s roadmap that should be announced formally in the upcoming week and should lay the foundation for the EOS technical roadmap but despite still being in the works, the labels for these include Wallet +, Docu +. API + and Audit +.
