Confusion in the community arises as Vitalik Buterin starts praising EOS but bashed Ethereum and a possible explanation could lie in his expectations of the project so let’s have a closer look at today’s latest EOS news.
Buterin praised EOS and called it “Ethereum on Steroids.” he said that the name reflects the lessons that the core team learned from the idealism of Ethereum to deliver a paltform that will have superior scalability and speed. With the odd nature of the tweet, the criticism was leveled at how ETH developers went about their business and now there’s confusion in the community on whether Buterin was sarcastic.
The fact that I'm even more critical of lots of non-crypto things going on in the world is also lost on people.
Point to *one* big-country (>100m) government in the world today that we can be proud of. I don't see any.

Some think that EOS was a victim of its success. The initial coin offering ended in June 2018 and raised $4.1 billion while still standing as the highest ICO raise in history. With that said,t eh expectations were high but there were plenty of disasters including the claims of the overstated speed, the Delegated Proof of stake mechanism being centralized, and also the resignation of the CTO Dan Larimer which turned off the investors.
The #EOS community has been through a lot, but they’ve shown great resiliency.
Other than Bitcoin, has any blockchain shown itself to be as resilient as $EOS?
After we pull off the comeback, everyone will be talking about The New $EOS…and as more than just a victim @hosseeb https://t.co/1gMWOm28Bh

Right now, EOS is down 96% of its ATH of $22.71 which was achieved in 2018, and back then, EOS was among the top 5 tokens and competed with Cardano and Ethereum. The EOS CEO Yves la Rose acknowledged the difficulties and turned it around by referring to a new comeback of the New EOS. EOS has a few projects in development like the recovery and Initaitive which refers to a formalized hacking response process for a faster network and the launch of the Pomelo Season 3 NFT. It remains to be seen if La Rose and the developers can spark interest in the project once again.
ok I'll bite – what's EOS?

The Input-Output CEO Charles Hoskinson asked buterin if he was okay after his tweet and crypto YouTuber Jungle Inc chimed in by saying that Vitalik buterin’s behavior was odd lately before ending the message by showing confusion over the tweet. Buterin commented on a desire to make the world like “Yudkowskian dath ilan” which is a parallel Earth where the wealthy give moeny and support public goods rather than spend it on the “zero-sum crap.” However, Buterin added that his criticism only gave insight into the developments and they come as he expects more from the industry.
