DOGE Foundation Released First Official Roadmap

The DOGE foundation released its first official roadmap despite being created eight years ago, it didn’t have a “whitepaper” or a roadmap like other crypto projects. However, the digital asset grew immensely and it has become imperative for there to be a roadmap for this proejct as we can see more today in our latest Dogecoin news.

Dogecoin went from being a joke meme coin to one of the biggest cryptocurrencies by market cap. The roadmap that was released by the DOGE foundation on the official website noted that they have a plan for the future as well as where the proejct could be headed from here. The recently released Dogecoin roadmap will propel the meme coin into the territory of “more serious coins” and it outlined some major projects that the digital asset will get involved in which showed a peak of what will be a very busy year for the core developers. These projects will push DOGE towards accelerated adoption like GigaWallet that will allow Doge payments to be enabled on the platforms in simple steps.

The Dogecoin website is scheduled to get a huge makeover as well and a complete redesign as well which will give the website a new look and will feature a number of new information regarding the project that will also allow members of the community to take part as coders, miners, and holders or simply fans. The Dogepedia section of the website will be a collection of frequently asked questions that were pulled from various social media platforms that provide answers to some of the most pressing questions from the community, as the statement read:

 “Our hope is that by making each Q&A a directly link-able page, we’re arming the Doge Army with the tools to destroy FUD wherever they find it!.”

If there’s one thing that DOGE is looking to do more, it is to enable the developers to work with projects without any issues. This is what LibDogecoin is here for. It is one of the eight projects that is listed on the roadmap that the developers will be working on. It represents a complete implementation of Dogecoin protocols as it is a C library and enables developers to build dogecoin-compliant products. It also makes available the ore functionality of DOGE as a C library to promote innovation in the community. This will help the developers build out their products on DOGE without having to worry about other specifics of the crypto functions. Other projects mentioned in the roadmap include Doge Keyring and Project RadioDoge while there’s also a proposal for community staking that will move the network to a proof of stake as well.
