Rolling Stone partnered with Coinbase to launch a limited edition NFT collection after a two-year hiatus, the magazine is returning with Rolling stone Live so let’s read further in our latest Coinbase news today.
According to the publication, the Rolling Stone Live event marks a company’s first collab with Coinbase and two companies that will drop an exclusive nonfungible token. Rolling stone partnered with Coinbase to launch a limited-edition collection of NFTs and the Live 2022 will be presented by the exchange which will feature the limited NFT by 12 Digital Artists. Rolling Stone partnered with Coinbase to drop an exclusive Rolling Stone Live NFT collection with 12 digital artists in the blockchain space and accoridng to the magazine, the artists were tasked with creating the NFts which showcase the Rolling Stones Logo. The artists include Elise Swopes, Deadfellaz, Kideight, Boss Beauties, Domino, Alida Sun, Mister Goldie, Emonee LaRussa, and more.
The American magazine said that the event marks the start of an ongoing partnership between Coinbase and Rolling Stone. Later in the year, the announcement noted that the artwork will b animated before it gets available for purchases via the marketplace Coinbase NFT as the announcement explains:
“The limited release will offer fans an extraordinary chance to own a piece of history created by some of the crypto space’s most influential digital artists.”
The partnership with Coinbase and the NFT drop is not the first time that Rolling Stones experimented with NFTs. The American magazine partnered with the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFt project last year and issued a collector’s edition zine. Lisa Mayer as the founder and CEO of Boss Beauties noted that her team is happy to contribute to the collection of NFTS. Mayer said:
“Having the opportunity to collaborate with an iconic brand like Rolling Stone and an innovative company like Coinbase has been so inspiring. We’re honored to be included alongside so many other notable creators and are excited to see how it all comes together.”
Rolling Stone Live will also feature musical performances by Tinashe, Iann Dior, Kaskade, Lil Jon. Leading up to the Rslive 2022, the companies Doordash and Twitch will work with the American magazine to host the on-site studio sessions and the logo further showcases that coinbase will present the Rolling Stone Live event by February 12, 2022.
