Bloomberg Terminal added chainlink price data options as well as support for 5 other coins for professional traders to be able to monitor and analyze real-time financial market data as we are reading more in our latest Chainlink news.
Bloomberg Terminal is a platform that allows professional traders to analyze real-time market data which now added price tracking for chainlink and six other cryptocurrencies including Orchid, OMG Network, EOS, Tezos, Stellar, and Chainlink. The data itself will be provided to the crypto indices platforms CF Benchmarks which is a Kraken subsidiary exchange regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, as Sui Chunkg CEO of CF Benchmarks added:
“With resilient indices from CF Benchmarks, Bloomberg has now added support for six new digital assets. Not only does this show institutional interest is beginning to move beyond Bitcoin but also highlights how the asset class is being viewed alongside the traditional asset classes.”
He said that the move shows that the crypto industry becoming more diversified and other assets apart from ETH, BTC, and other altcoins that are getting recognized by real investors and institutions:
“The world of investing has changed beyond all recognition in the seven years since Bloomberg first added Bitcoin price data to its terminals.”
CF Benchmarks’ data is being used by many institutional-focused platforms and is the calculation agent for the Nasdaq crypto index and for the Canadian second BTC ETF.
As reported recently, The Chainlink oracles made their way to xDai as an ETH sidechain that saw growing adoption among Dapp developers that are not able to sustain themselves due to the high fees on the Ethereum mainnet. The price feeds are live on the xDai mainnet and offering price data for the initial set of trading pairs like AAVE/USD, LINK/USD, DOT/USD, and SUSHI/USD. More pairs should be expected if there’s more demand.
The integration was done by Protofire which is a development workshop and xDai validator with the team receiving a Chainlink Community Grant to port native oracles on XDai and the token bridge adapter that enables native LINK payments for the functionality of the oracle. The integration of the LINK price feeds is the latest in the series of positive adoption news as the chain has already been hosting major ETH-based Dapps like Perpetual Protocol and Omen.
