Cardano Founder Labels Crypto As A “Political Movement”

Charles Hoskinson who is the Cardano founder labels crypto as political, urging the community to rally against efforts to stifle it.

As Hoskinson noted in a recent Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session, participating in cryptocurrency is a political act. He spoke during the impromptu AMA and asserted that all cryptocurrency-driven fundamental disruptions to monetary relations will not come without a struggle.

This is why the Cardano founder thinks that the cryptonews and everything connected to the industry is part of a bigger political arena. In that manner, he urged members of the crypto community to take a stand against increasing regulatory moves to crack down on the encryption.

“Crypto is a political movement,” Hoskinson proclaimed in the AMA streamed on June 5.

He further noted that the entire industry is “as political as it gets,” noting that he and others “are going to reinvent the concept of money and take it out of the government’s hands and control it ourselves.”

With this, the Cardano founder labels crypto as political. He went viral in the Cardano news and emphasized that the crypto phenomenon is especially political by nature because of the creative destruction that it seeks to bring upon monetary commodities and policy. In that manner, Hoskinson noted that “money is the biggest influence of all of politics.”

“Everything has to change: trade changes, property rights change, business change, the business structure changes, laws change.”

In this way, the Cardano founder said that the impacts of cryptocurrency will reach beyond money itself. He predicted that cryptocurrency assets will face increasing hostility from regulators, noting that “there are people in the Senate and the Congress today in the United States and all around the world who want to ban crypto.”

Because of this, the Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson urged the crypto community to fight against regulatory efforts to constrain crypto. He stated:

“If you’re in this industry, what do you do? Do you just roll over like a dead dog and say, ‘It was a lot of fun okay, alright, whatever.’ No, I’m sorry, You have to have an opinion. You have to fight for the right things.”

As a final note, he said that right now, there is a strong movement to ban encryption so that when you have encryption, you need to have a backdoor in the system.”
