The Singaporean National University (NUS) partnered with a Chinese tech company to work together in order to research and develop blockchain solutions according to the official crypto news outlet by the Communist Party of China-People’s Daily online reported a day ago.
The National University of Singapore was a participant of the blockchain and big data seminar that was held in the Sichuan Province, more specifically in the city of Chongqing where the university stated that they will collaborate with local business Chongquing Jinwowo Technologies (CJT). The university and the CJT Company will work on innovations that include both artificial intelligence (AI) and big data.
Professor Pang Yan at the University of Singapore’s School of Business and Computer Science stated:
“This strategic cooperation will work within big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, etc.’’
The professor is also the director of the Commercial Big Data analysis center.
During the seminar, multiple presentations were shown including the one of the Chongqing Blockchain Industry Innovation Alliance’s charter explaining how the alliance is forming the first blockchain association in the Sichuan Province or in the area in general.
The National University of Singapore will have a huge technical role in the CJT deal, mainly focusing on providing help to resolve issues in new tools with its specialty, expertise, and knowledge.
