Earlier this month, as per the DC Forecasts reports, about 80 percent of the government entities in the United Arab Emirates started using blockchain. Over the past few months, the Department of Economic Development in Dubai announced to be moving to a blockchain-based unified business registry platform and to improve the ease of doing business in the country and to enable license issuers in order to manage trade licenses and corporate registries. Being decentralized, efficient and transparent, the entire healthcare sector will see huge benefits from the blockchain technology. There are some challenges as well ahead but the industries will adapt to the real-world applications when it comes to policy, regulation and patient relationships.
