Ngrave Claims It Built “The Most Secure Crypto Hardware Wallet”

About less than a week until its launch in the cryptonews, the company Ngrave claims it built the most secure hardware wallet for cryptocurrencies – which is the EAL7-certified hardware wallet Zero.

For those of you who don’t know, Ngrave is a digital asset security firm which is now viral for its claims that they have built the most secure wallet out there. As previously reported, the Zero claims to be the first hardware wallet which claims to receive EAL7 certification which is one of the highest security gradings in the world.

There is an Evaluation Assessment Level that is graded from EAL1 to EAL7, with the latter representing the fullest battery of testing possible. This includes design documentation and analysis, functional as well as penetration testing.

In order to achieve such certification, Zero integrates the ProvenCore Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) from Prove & Run. The co-owner of Prove & Run Christophe Pagezy explained:

“ProvenCore is the first TEE to be formally proven down to the generated code. The proof also covers all of the essential parts of the TEE. ProvenCore provides a distinctively higher security level and a lower cost of security.”

The software is now paired with a new and highly secure and tamper-proof microprocessor unit from STM Electronics. The Zero is also featuring a built-in secure element that is wrapped in a tamper-proof sealed metal casing which also shields against incoming as well as outgoing frequencies.

Unlike many other hard wallets, Ngrave claims that the Zero does not rely on one “master seed” that ships with the device. Instead, it incorporates elements of biometric data such as fingerprints and even environmental randomness from light levels. The CEO of the company, Ruben Merre, explained why potential customers should consider this wallet and said:

“Our technology’s firmware and hardware meets the security industry’s most stringent specifications possible. This lets us assure NGRAVE wallet customers they’ll own the world’s most secure crypto cold storage wallet, as independently verified by the world’s best information technology and security standard.”

As we previously reported, Ngrave claims that it has the most secure hardware wallet and recently took on Jean-Jaques Quisquater as an advisor, an individual known as one of the pioneering cryptographers and quoted by Satoshi Nakamoto in the original Bitcoin whitepaper.
