Magic Eden Will Accept Tokens From Aurory And DeGods NFTs

Magic Eden will accept tokens from Aurory and DeGods NFTs for purchases as we can see more today in our latest blockchain news today.

With OpenSea inbound, Magic Eden will accept tokens from the Solana-based NFT projects Aurory and DeGods. Solana NFT marketplace will accept payments in DUST and AURY for NFT purchases and dUST is the token of Solana NFT project DeGods while AURY is the token of Aurory. Eden could integrate other project tokens as well. Magic Eden as the leading NFT marketplace on the Solana network will integrate the native tokens of the top Solana NFT projects starting with DeGods and Aurory with the users being able to purchase NFTs on the marketplace using the native token AURY and DUST.

The platform tested the news last week and tweeted that they are integrating DUST. Later it tweeted an illustration of a fantasy-themed pub with the Magic Eden logo and the text “AURY” with both tokens using Solana’s SPL tokens standard.

Tiffany Huang who is the head of content and marketing at Magic Eden said that once added, the tokens can be spent like SOL on the marketplace which means that they can be used to purchase Solana NFTs from any collections listed on the platform:

“We wanted to get those projects really excited that they could use those tokens on our site. We didn’t see any other marketplace doing this, so we thought it was a huge opportunity.”

Huang noted that Magic Eden is discussing with the creators of the Solana blue-chip NFT collections to add their tokens but only DUST and AURY which are confirmed for now. She awaits that the integrations will launch in the next few weeks. DeGods became one of the most popular Solana-based NFT projects as of late and has generated more trading volume than other NFT collections of Magic Eden in the past week. The profile picture project yielded more than 49,000 SOL worth of trading in the span whcih is now worth nearly $6.4 million as of the time of writing.

The floor price of DeGods NFT or the cheapest available listed on the marketplace is 90 SOL or about $11,660 while last week, DeGods launched DeadGods which allows the NFT holders to swap to a different profile picture instead and the holders can earn DUST by staking their NFT. In the meantime, Aurory shot to popularity in the Solana ecosystem and is billed as a multi-utility ecosystem token for the expanding project.
