Decentral games launches fast-paced “sit-n-go” tournaments to their play-and-earn ICE Poker game. SNG Tournaments are single-elimination, fast-paced tournaments in which participants fight for ICE wearables as well as ICE and xDG token awards.

A new mode has been added to the ICE Poker game by Decentral Games, a top blockchain- and metaverse-based play-and-earn gaming platform with thousands of monthly visitors. This mode is playable through the Decentral Flex App.

According to a press release, Decentral’s new Sit-n-Go (SNG) Events, which have been in the works for quite some time, are single-elimination tournaments that provide participants the opportunity to win in-game ICE wearables as well as ICE and xDG token awards.

“ICE Poker SNG is a six-player poker game with mandatory 10/20 chips blinds, which double every four minutes. Blinds are a mandatory bet for all players, designed to keep the tournaments fast-paced. Each game is expected to last for 45 minutes,”

According to the team, the winners of each SNG game will earn Event Badges, while the runners-up will receive a refund for the in-game Shine they paid to enter the tournament. The Badges may be used to purchase wearables, ICE accessories, ICE, and xDG tokens.

SNG Requirements For Entry

To participate in any SNG Tournament, Decentral’s ICE Poker participants must have at least one in-game wearable or Shine. Players must purchase one of three wearables: Tournament, Flex, or All Access.

However, Tournament Wearables can only be used in SNG tournaments, Flex Wearables can only be used in the ICE Poker Flex APP, and All Access Wearables may be used in both Decentraland and the Flex app.

“Each tournament entry requires a certain amount of Shine on their wearable, which can be refilled using ICE tokens. Different tournaments and events have different Shine requirements, while the number of Tournament Badges they’ll win is equal to how much Shine they used,”

Unlike the Standard Challenge mode of the ICE Poker play and earn game, Decentral has revealed that the entrance criteria for SNG tournaments are fairly low, allowing experienced players without large wealth to play the game with just a Tournament Wearable, establish their value in the game, and earn enough ICE to purchase the Flex or the All Access Wearable.
