Blockchain Browser Brave Doubles Its Monthly Users In 2019

The private blockchain browser Brave has doubled its monthly pool of active users this year, the crypto news today show. Known as privacy oriented, this browser has seen its monthly active users (MAU) almost double from $5.5 million in 2018 to more than 10.4 million in 2019.

At the same time, the daily active users of the private blockchain browser Brave have tripled over the past year, reaching a figure of 3.3 million as an official announcement on December 5 showed.

According to the company, this recent growth in MAU follows the release of the new version of Brave’s browser named the 1.0 on November 13. As the blog post outlined, the blockchain browser expanded its MAU base from 8.7 million in October this year to over 10 million at the end of November this year.

Aside from the spike in active users, the Brave browser also recorded a 12-time increase in the verified publishers which are registered to receive the built-in tokens of the browser. In contrast to this, the news showed that Brave had just 28,000 verified publishers at the beginning of this year.

As it stands, a number of reports show that Brave is becoming very popular right now. The private blockchain browser Brave even overtook major competitors like Chrome, Firefox and Opera earlier this year and the Japanese Google Play in September this year, too.
