The new blockchain framework for Ethereum (ETH) and Hyperledger Fabric has recently been announced by Amazon Web Services (AWS) – as announced in a blog post this Thursday, April 19th. This framework will allow users to build and manage their own blockchain-powered decentralized apps (DApps).
The blog post also outlines the main functions of the framework, which will mainly focus on helping users create their own blockchain-related services. After announcing the partnership with R3 DLT consortium on December 6th, 2017, Amazon Web Services made the company’s Corda platform to become the first available solution within their infrastructure.
For the ones who don’t know, Corda is designed to allow users to use DApps on the AWS platform and build apps directly from scratch. On the other hand, the Linux Foundation’s Hyperledger Blockchain tech firm was founded in 2015 – releasing its first production blockchain code in July 2017. Ever since then, the Hyperledger DLT products have become widespread among companies incorporating blockchain solutions with platforms to improve their service.
One of the recent deployments is the Chinese Huawei Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) tool which was implemented on Huawei’s blockchain cloud service.
All in all, the Ethereum network by Vitalik Buterin is the base for building DApps among developers. As of recently, NASA also revealed that they are building an autonomous spacecraft that could make its own decisions using the (same) blockchain technology.
