With the rising in popularity, celebrities investing in Bitcoin come as no surprise. They are many who currently own Bitcoin and there are some that are just joining the party. Celebrities that already have Bitcoin for a longer time founded companies and startups that offer great services and some even offer their music to be purchased with Bitcoin. 1. Ashton Kutcher

The actor Ashton Kutcher is a founder of a venture fund named A-Grade Investments that invest in BitPay. BitPay allows merchants to accept payments made in bitcoin. On a TechCrunch conference last year he said: ‘’the bigger thing with bitcoin is: what can that decentralized technology really do? Imagine if we could decentralize that issue of security and if we can decentralize security. “The notion that we could civically monitor each other in an anonymous way actually keeps the anonymity of the Internet, we don’t have to worry about Big Brother and that same infrastructure that built out bitcoin could be used in the security industry for mass good’’.

2. Nas

Rapper and songwriter Nas invested in about 30 startups including the most popular company on the crypto market Coinbase. In 2017 Coinbase raised more than $20 million in funding led by Andreessen Horowitz who is actually a close friend with Nas.

3. Mel B

The former Spice Girl is the first singer and songwriter that accept Bitcoin for the purchase of her albums. She said that this new technology makes it easier for her fans to buy the album using only one currency.

4. Donald Glover

Actor and rapper Donald Glover or better known as Childish Gambino is a strong believer that we should all be using cryptocurrencies. On one occasion he even said: ‘’Yeah, I know a lot of people are skeptical, but I feel like if everything’s going to live online, why not bitcoins? Being backed by gold seems very old and nostalgic to me’’.
