Bitcoin SV activity noted an increase in activity as the users seem to be very excited about the conference as we are reading in our Latest bitcoin SV news.
The active addresses and transaction counts on the Bitcoin SV network saw huge growth in the days before the CoinGeek Live conference in New York this week. The Active BSV addresses increased from 110,000 to 947,400 addresses today. The increase in Bitcoin SV activity raised eyebrows on Twitter as Craig Wright antagonist Arthur Van Pelt reposted SirToshi’s chart which calls out attention to the fact that BSV manages to overtake the ETH network during the current Defi boom:
“Seems legit. Organic Growth I think. Has nothing to do with #CGLive I bet’.”
Bitcoin influencer “hodlonaut” responded with a facepalm emoji on the comment. The transactions on the BSV network increased from 715.6K to 1,751K today which is a growth of about 145% in the past two days. The average transaction values in the meantime, dropped by two-thirds over the same timeframe. However, it is possible that the spike was a coincidence as the network didn’t see unusual bursts of activity. The active addresses increased to more than 1 million on June 24, and the transactions spiked to 5.5 million as well.
The CoinGeek Live event is an online affair featuring speakers such as Craig Wright, Jimmy Nguyen, and Fundstrat Global managing partner Thomas Lee. In the opening address, Nguyen said that Bitcoin SV has incentives to discourage bad behavior and noted that the original BTC whitepaper mentions the “honest” worth about 15 times. According to reports, Bitcoin SV now processes more than 2800 transactions per second on the mainnet and aims for 50,000 in the near future. The forthcoming Teranode enterprise protocol also aims to reach 1 TB transaction block. Nguyen said that Bitcoin Satoshi Vision is a “foundational rule set for an entire network” and that is will also reinvent the internet.
Supreme Court in Norway today rejected CSW’s jurisdiction appeal, awarding me costs of $6,000 on top of the $60,000 already owed.
His perfect loss record is intact. (4 out of 4)🤡
The real case will now go forward in Norway where another loss surely awaits him.
Welcome to law! https://t.co/Ue4TL4P5gp— hodlonaut 🌮⚡🔑 (@hodlonaut) September 30, 2020
In other latest Bitcoin SV news, we read that the Supreme Court of Norway rejected Craig Wright’s jurisdictional appeal as he was trying to sue Hodlonaut for libel back in the UK but will have to go through Norwegian courts to get what he wants. Hodlonaut said that the court awarded him with $6000 in costs with the previous $60,000 already awarded.
