It’s official – the world’s greatest humanitarian organization, UNICEF, is in the daily crypto news for a recent approval of cryptocurrencies in their donation system.
UNICEF France officially announced the news and listed the cryptocurrencies that will be supported, including the names of Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, EOS, Stellar, Litecoin, Monero, and Dash on its website.

The donors will be also able to donate their computing power by mining the other six cryptocurrencies directly to UNICEF France’s wallets. As the director of UNICEF France recently announced, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies offer the humanitarian world a massive opportunity that they shouldn’t pass as they are “innovative in terms of solidarity and fundraising.”
This decision also comes months after the success of a campaign by the same organization (UNICEF) which was known as GameChangers – where the global UNICEF body launched an initiative to help children in Syria by asking gamers to contribute their computing resources to mine cryptocurrency.
UNICEF Autralia also announced that it goes through great efforts to ensure the potential donors that by accepting to donate their computing power – their devices will suffer no harm.
