The origin of Satoshi Nakamoto could be revealed according to the new documents By Craig Wright where it’s explained what stands behind the pseudonym. However, we have already been through this once before with Wright so let’s see what new we can find out in the following crypto news.
The self-proclaimed Bitcoin creator Craig Wright showed a new document in which he claims that we reveals the origin of Satoshi Nakamoto. In an interview published by the industry news outlet Modern Consensus, Wright showed to his interviewer, a new document which represents an article from the digital database of academic journals JSTOR, with a date from 2008. The article is about one person named Tominaga Nakamoto who lived somewhere between 1715 and 1746 in Japan. The document also contained the following notes:
“Nakamoto is the Japanese Adam Smith. Honest Ledger + Micro Cash. Satoshi is Intelligent History. Not too hard.”
According to Wright, he chose the name Nakamoto of Tominaga and the handwritten note compares him to Adam Smith who is mainly known as the father of modern economics. When he was asked whether Nakamoto’s economic ideas were the main reason why he has chosen the name, he answered:
“In part, yes. He wrote about money and honest money and the rational nature of things. The shogun [feudal ruler] at the time was in financial crisis and economic austerity. […] I like the description of him, and I got into his brother, Tōka. ‘Nakamoto was upright and quiet but impatient in character’ and I thought: ‘That sounds like me.’”
When it comes to the first word of the pseudonym Satoshi, Wright says that it represents the ‘’intelligent learning.’’ This refers to one having access to the knowledge conquered by the ancestors. Wright also claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto when in November he informed the plaintiff that he could not finance a 500,000 BTC settlement in the Kleiman estate that was launched against him. Dave Kleiman was a cyber-security expert who many believe that was one of the first developers behind Bitcoin’s and blockchain’s technology who died in 2013.
Satoshi Nakamoto is known to have mined the first block on the Bitcoin blockchain and the so-called Satoshi Blocks should own only a small number of coins to his/her address.
