The prominent Bitcoin Cash backer and crypto tycoon Roger Ver has quietly moved his positions within the flagship company, Bitcoin.com. As reports shared in the altcoin news show, the (formerly known) CEO of Bitcoin.com – which is often confused with the CEO of Bitcoin itself by newcomers – Ver is now listed on the site as the executive chairman.
As a brief trip to the Wayback Machine (an Internet tool for checking old websites) reveals, the crypto tycoon Roger Ver was listed as Bitcoin.com’s CEO as recently as July 24 which was the last time the website was archived.
There is proof that Bitcoin.com in its earlier version listed Roger Ver as its CEO. However, the management shift which occurred recently does not appear to have been announced publicly. Currently, the Bitcoin.com website lists the crypto tycoon Roger Ver as an executive chairman – and Stefan Rust is currently the CEO.
As we can see from Rust’s LinkedIn page, he took over as CEO in July after serving as the company’s global head of corporate and business development for about six months. The latest cryptocurrency news show that Ver’s transaction was first spotted by a Twitter user.

Meanwhile, many best cryptocurrency news sites showed that Bitcoin.com is about to launch a full-blown cryptocurrency exchange in September at the exchange.bitcoin.com domain. The company also launched a Bitcoin Cash alternative to LocalBitcoins, and Roger Ver went so far as to taunt President Donald Trump when he attacked cryptocurrency in a tweetstorm.
It is right now unclear if the reason for the de-listing of the crypto tycoon Roger Ver is because he once “investigated” Mt. Gox and published the infamous video in defense of Mark Kareles even as the Japanese exchange was imploding at the time.
He also recorded a retraction to this video as shown below:
The crypto tycoon Roger Ver was in the coming altcoin news recently too for escaping from a libel lawsuit in the UK, brought against him by Craig “Satoshi Nakamoto” Wright – which was brought at Ver’s invitation and on the basis of him doing Wright’s reputation insufficient harm within England and Wales.
