The self-proclaimed Bitcoin inventor and crypto personality Craig Wright will challenge the recent ruling against him in the $10 billion lawsuit filed by the estate of Dave Kleiman, the latest cryptocurrency news show.
As the court papers filed on August 30 outline, Wright asked the district judge Beth Bloom for a 14-day deadline extension in order to challenge the magistrate judge Bruce Reinhart and its prior ruling.
The order shows that Craig Wright will challenge the Judge Reinhart – but also comes as a continuation after the previous order of Judge Reinhart which struck down a number of key affirmative defenses that Wright could use. However, if the ruling remains unchallenged, it would be almost impossible for Craig Wright to defend himself.
As Wright told CCN and was featured on many best cryptocurrency news sites, “sadly, I am not permitted to talk about” the specifics of the case, stating that this is as per standard for anyone involved in a lawsuit, especially one that is a high-profile one.
The coming altcoin news show that while Craig Wright will challenge the court, he was polite and patient in his responses to multiple questions. In other words, his demeanor did not strike one as the one of a man who is terrified of losing billions.
Meanwhile, the $10 billion lawsuit has been a sensation in the altcoin news – catching the attention of the mainstream media all around the globe. Currently, at issue is whether Craig Wright will challenge and turn over half of the 1.1 million Bitcoin (BTC) that he and his late business partner Dave Kleiman allegedly mined from 2009 to 2011. At the time, Wright and Kleiman worked together and W&K Info Defense Research.
Meanwhile, W&K was the company based out of Florida which Wright and Kleiman collaborated on before the death of Kleiman in 2013. According to the February 2018 lawsuit filed against Wright by Dave’s brother (Ira Kleiman) Dave owned 50% to 100% of W&K.
Despite the fact that Craig Wright will challenge the court again, he did not share any details on the estate that Kleiman left after he died, as the lawsuit shows. There is an uphill battle for Wright right now as both judges say that he has committed perjury and falsified documents in order to hide his Bitcoin trove.
