One of the crypto firms that provides a private key management service and Bitcoin node machine named Casa has recently introduced a new node monitor and an accompanying rewards program which promote Bitcoin’s network health, the latest cryptocurrency news show. The news that Casa unveils tools to improve the network health of Bitcoin have been well accepted by the entire crypto community.
The company announced the new projects in an official blog post on August 21. As the announcement shows, the node monitor – called Node Heartbeats – relies on establishing a brief connection between Casa’s server as well as an online synced and Tor-activated node that is owned by a customer. As Casa unveils the new rewards program, it will also let node users earn 10,000 SatsBack per week in exchange for performing 5 Node Heartbeat checks per week (on different days).
Meanwhile, the SatsBack can be exchanged for Bitcoin (BTC) once a day via the Casa Keymaster app. Casa unveils that if a user has accumulated a minimum of 50,000 SatsBack points, they can exchange BTC on the app. As the report showed, Casa believes that it is difficult for users to stay up to date on the uptime of their nodes as well as their security. However, Casa unveils an incentive program just because of that – hoping to improve the overall health of the Bitcoin network.
The altcoin news show that Charlie Lee, the founder of Litecoin (LTC), is a Casa investor. He announced this just three days ago while praising Casa for driving BTC adoption. As he said:
“I have the same feeling about Casa today as I had about Coinbase when I joined in 2013 as the 3rd hire. Casa is making Bitcoin easy to use and that is extremely important for this space. Looking forward to great things!”
Congrats on the hire!

As a lot of best cryptocurrency news sites previously reported, Lighting Labs which is the developer behind the Lighting Network, recently launched an alpha version of a node monitor called Indmon – which will allow node operators to monitor node usage in real time. The network issues this year have motivated the developers to create new tools for preemptively spotting node as well as network issues.
