Bitcoin touched $68K for the first time In its new all-time high while ADA soared 12% over the past 24 hours as we are reading more in our latest Bitcoin news today.
The entire crypto market cap saw a new record as both ETH and BTC charted new highs with ADA soared by 12% in the past 24hours. Bitcoin managed to get to a new high in less than three weeks of $67,000 and set a new one of $69,000 and Ethereum followed suit while painting a new high as well. Cardano gained a new high well as it increased 12% overnight. Three days ago the main cryptocurrency struggled at around $60,000 and the community wondered if that will remain above this level for longer. A lot can change on the market for the next few days as instead of dipping below $60,000 BTC went on the offensive and started increasing fast.
Bitcoin touched $68K after it surged by a few thousand dollars and reached a new high of $66,000 previously and got inches away from breaking a new record at $67,000 so after spending time below this line, it finally charted a new peak at $68,000. BTC retraced by a few hundred dollars but the market cap is just shy of $1.3 trillion with the dominance over the altcoins increased a little to 43.7%. The second-biggest crypto also saw a new record high in the past day and a few days ago, ETH dipped below $4500 with the bulls stepping up and pushing it north again. The latest price rise resulted in ETH hitting $4860 which became the new ATH.
Solana, Ripple, Binance coin, and Polkadot are up as well with Terra and Shiba Inu adding around 4% of the value. Cardano surged the most out of the top 10 coins with a 12% increase to $2.3. Litecoin surged by 19% in one day but DOGE and AVAX dropped slightly. Further gains were seen from the Basic Attention token as It increased by 23%, Loopring by 39%, Livepeer by 56%, Helium by 23%, Vechain by 13%, The Graph by 10%, and Curve DAO by 11%. The data from CoinGecko shows that the crypto market cap saw a new record as well, hitting $3.1 trillion.
