Anti-Altcoin Analyst Claims Bitcoin Is The Only One With Real Value

Anti-altcoin analyst Peter Brandt took it to Twitter to say that Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that has real value. In the coming altcoin news below, we dive deeper on his stance on cryptocurrencies.

Earlier this week, the anti-altcoin analyst remained the altcoin maximalists that Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrencies:

“When will altcoin junkies understand that $BTC is the crypto with real and lasting value,” Brandt said. “Altcoins are to Bitcoin what lead is to Gold.”

To emphasize the point, Brandt shared the charts that show just how poorly Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple have performed against the largest cryptocurrency over time. The charts show crash after crash as bitcoin consolidated the market share. The evidence drives the trader’s thesis that the number one crypto is the only one that the users should be holding. He also believes that some of the other altcoins will never be profitable at least in the short-term:

“Non-BTC cryptos will enjoy periodic pumps.’’

This has happened before as well. In 2017 the bull run was a great example. Many cryptocurrencies that had fragile fundamentals suddenly grew in value and chipped away at the dominance of Bitcoin. However, Brandt also noted that without bitcoin, some of the other cryptocurrencies will be completely worthless. To further emphasize the bullishness of the cryptocurrency, Brandt shared another analysis on how high bitcoin can climb in the next bull market. With the resistance trendlines, he predicted that the dominant cryptocurrency will even ascend to $140,000 during the next parabolic phase. This is a bold prediction but it is not crazy as it sounds. The owner of LaDuc Trading, Samantha LaDuc, also shares Brandt’s opinion on Bitcoin and she even stated:

“The cryptocurrency market was only invented 10 years ago so there is a strong possibility that the Bitcoin platform could be the equivalent of the [internet in the 1980s]. Bitcoin is laying the foundation to possibly serve as the greatest wealth transfer mechanism in history as it levels the playing field for people all over the world to use a singular means of trusted exchange to control their own destiny.”
