Roger Ver Donated $10,000 In BCH To Charitable Children Organization

Roger Ver donated $10,000 in bitcoin cash to a charitable organization for children named Casa De Amparo, which helps children get away from child abuse and neglect. The organization was founded in 1978 and since then it is offering plenty of programs to help those affected by abuse in San Diego County as we are reading in the latest Bitcoin Cash news today.

The 2019 Child Maltreatment Report noted that there are millions of US children who are subject to different forms of neglect, abuse, and sexual abuse as well. Children have almost no choice and it hard for them to escape violence without help from an adult. Casa de Amparo has been helping kids by expanding services and programs in San Diego County. The shelter was founded by a small group of people concerned about domestic violence and is also helped by the local police along with the Crisis Center for those affected. The mission statement says:

Partnering with the greater San Diego community, we ensure that children and their families receive unique and innovative services for healing, for stopping child mistreatment of any kind, and for ending generational cycles of abuse. Roger Ver donated $10,000 in bitcoin cash to the shelter which is the place where the Bitcoin.com new podcast host Dustin Planthold lived as a young child. Plantholt is a Board Member of Casa de Amparo. Ver donated the money to help the shelter because it was one of the hardest-hit programs after the coronavirus pandemic. Plantholt also said that Bitcoin.com readers can also donate via the donation portal of the shelter the nonprofit uses for crypto donations.

Ver also challenged the host of the What Bitcoin Did podcast, Peter McCormack to write a new blog documenting how Ver has allegedly lied to the crypto community. McCormack accused Ver of telling lies to the crypto community but there was no evidence ever to prove the claims. The podcast host resorts to logical facilities and personal attacks which is why many users believe McCormack doesn’t understand the technology behind crypto.
