From toilet paper to pizza, you can get your hands on non-fungible tokens from some of the major brands in the world, and in our crypto news, we are answering the question, what 4 major brands are jumping in on the NFT bandwagon?
In the past few months, brands jumped to the multi-million dollar NFT bandwagon with companies like Taco Bell, Pringles, and Charmin minting their own NFTs. For some brands, this is only catching up to the 2021 trends and they’ve seized on the opportunity presented by these assets while others saw long-term value propositions in the digital scarcity they offer.
Up first we have Pizza Hut’s pixilated pizza. Pizza hut put a pixilated pizza on Rarible for 0.0001 ETH with the idea being to be affordable as the Executive Creative Director at Ogilvy Megan Farquhar said. The NFT was used as a marketing opportunity to promote new recipes that are coming to restaurants in Canada every week. The company will release a new pizza slice as an NFT every week, as Farquhar said:
“Pizza Hut’s delicious pizza is here to stay, digitally and otherwise.”
The digital Mona Pizza is upon us. Pizza Hut presents 1 Byte Favourites, a highly exclusive NFT minting run of 1 byte pizzas, each for the cost of 1 bite of pizza. Available for an extremely limited time, but will last forever. https://t.co/f4831jybLc pic.twitter.com/yhUbxfs7YG

Next, we have Pringles. The Kellogg’s owner chips company announced the release of a limited-edition flavor which is called CryptoCrisp during the NFT mania height. There were 50 packages auctioned but they exist as an NFT artwork alone. 10% of the sales are going to the artist that created the NFT dubbed H+Creative.
Introducing our newest Pringles flavor: CryptoCrisp, an exclusive #NFT flavor created by artist #VasyaKolotusha. Only 50 exist, all starting at the price of a Pringles can. Click the link to get your *digital hands* on one! https://t.co/JA6Bas4Ez0

Taco-bell also joined with a Taco-themed collectible that hit the internet once the collection was dropped and sold out in minutes. Taco Bell created five different NFTs and sold them for 0.001 ETH which is very cheap as far as NFTs go. Some collectors however were asking for close to $200,000 on the resale market and the proceeds went on a worthy cause as well. The Taco Bell Foundation is focused on helping young people find careers which is another amazing feature that this company has.

Finally, we have MGA Entertainment that owns the Bratz franchise. Bratz are toy dolls, TV shows, games, and movies that are minted as a series of NFT dolls in the form of collectible cards back in December after the partnership with Animoca Brands.
