Ukraine launched NFT museum to show the art related to the war against Russia with the initiative serving as a fundraising campaign so let’s read further in today’s latest cryptocurrency news.
The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced on Twitter that Ukraine launched NFT museum where the most memorable events of the war with Russia will be displayed. This seems to be a materialization of the idea that was revealed by Alex Bornyakov and reported in the news. According to Fedorov the museum will serve as a place to celebrate the Ukrainian identity and freedom and will preserve the memory of the events which happened at the start of February when Russia launched the attack on Ukraine. The VC prime minister noted:
“While Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, we rely on revolutionary blockchain tech. @Meta_History_UA NFT-Museum is launched. The place to keep the memory of war. And the place to celebrate the Ukrainian identity and freedom. Check here: https://t.co/IrNV0w54tg

The NFT museum will serve to collect donations and help the Ukrainian people in these difficult times. In the Russian war against Ukraine, cryptos have proven their potential to help the country and the citizens from an economic collapse. They have raised awareness of the community for everyone that wants to support human life beyond the side or political tinge. According to the official website of the NFT museum, 100% of the proceeds from the sales will go to the official crypto-accounts of the ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine to support both the civilians and the troops. The NFT museum was created to leave a huge mark on history and the government wants future generations to remember how they lived in the war times and what it means for other people.
“The formula of each NFT is clear and simple: each token is a real news piece from an official source and an illustration from artists, both Ukrainian and international […] We will never let any single day of this period disappear from the ledger of world history.”
Ukraine recieved more than $65 million in crypto donations and according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation portal, the country received up to $56 million in crypto:
“Thanks @FinancialTimes & @CristinaCriddle! “As the war has continued, the government has refined its approach. This week, it launched an official @_AidForUkraine website”
