The popular Spanish Bit2Me exchange as well as the Indian exchange Unocoin became one of the first exchanges to list the meme-based coin Shiba Inu as we can see today in our altcoin news.
The Spanish Bit2Me exchange announced its support for Shiba Inu and the company listed the meme coin because of the huge interest from the locals. Shiba Inu saw the light of day a year ago but became popular in 2021 with the meme coin craze that was initiated by Dogecoin and its most prominent supporter Elon Musk. The so-called DOGE-killer became one of the best performers on the market despite the downturn in prices but it still attracts major attention.

After the trends and attempting to satisfy the desires of the locals, Spain’s biggest exchange decided to list Shiba Inu and announced on Twitter earlier today. The goal of Shiba Inu initially was to dethrone Dogecoin it emerged as one of the most popular tokens. Speaking of the first meme coin, seven months ago, the Spanish Platform allowed the users to interact with it as well. Founded in 2014, Bit2Me is the main trading exchange in Spain and offers the users the ability to buy and sell BTC as well as other coins in exchange for EUR. One of the company’s first initiatives was the launch of the Bit2Me Academy that provided crypto education for students every year.
Another major digital asset exchange that added support for DOGE and SHIB is the Indian Unocoin as right after the development, the users of the platform we’re able to trade DOGE against the Indian Rupee but to deal with SHIB they had to swap it for Tether first. Despite this confusing environment that has been prolonged in India, Unocoin is not the only exchange that listed Shiba Inu. Last month we saw CoinDCX announcing the addition of the self-proclaimed DOGE killer to its retail app.
As we reported recently, Flexa Network announced that it will support Shiba Inu’s native cryptocurrency-SHIB and as such, the users will be able to pay with SHIB through a merchant network of more than 40,000. Flexa is a payments network that partnered with Gemini as one of the leading US-based crypto exchanges back in 2019. now, the company announced support for the meme-coin Shiba Inu Ecosystem.
