Shopify expanded the options so now sellers using the Crypto.com Pay feature can allow customers to settle their accounts with more than 20 tokens. Strike as the payment network led by Jack Mallers announced for integration of bitcoin Lightning payments and the merchants will also be able to accept crypto with Coinbase Commerce and BitPay. The lead of the blockchain ecosystem at Shopify John Lee added:
“Our growing blockchain ecosystem demonstrates our commitment to supporting merchants with alternative payment methods on their storefronts, helping to further expand what’s possible in commerce.”
As a bonus, Shopify merchants using Crypto.com Pay won’t pay settlement fees for a month and the shares of the company increased 11% on NYSE.
