SHIB prepares to launch its multi-platform game as the latest arm of the project that is expected to propel adoption in the gaming industry as we can see more in today’s crypto news.

Shiba Inu was expanding its footprint in various industries and gaming and it announced that it plans to release a multi-platform game where the holders can play each other. In order for this to happen, the project went into search of an AAA game studio that will help bring the vision to reality. The search was hard and filled with disappointments but the meme coin found a perfect partner in PlaySide studios so now Shib prepares to launch a game.

Shiba Inu revealed that it planned to build a 7-figure game and Shiba Inu Games was created to perform the task. In an announcement made on Twitter, the team confirmed that it partnered with Australian game studio PlaySdie, saying that it entered into an eight-month milestone agreement with the developers to create the game. PlaySide Studios is the biggest Australian publicly listed game developer and worked with some other major companies in the entertainment industry like Warner Bros, Pixar, and Disney.

Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the agreement that will allow each project to cross over the new industry. The CEO of PlaySide Gerry Sakkas said:

“PlaySide continues to demonstrate its capacity to partner with leaders across a range of fields within interactive entertainment, including leading influencers and global game brands. To add a new games client that has emerged from the popular NFT, token, and decentralized cryptocurrency industry is very exciting for us.”

PlaySide studios launched the games on plenty of other platforms that will help deploy the game faster and it will range from mobile, desktop, and of course metaverse. Shiba Inu revealed that core developers are working on “OshiVerse” and were in talks about the new way to launch it on Shibarium but the metaverse proejct is still in the works and will come to the community shortly. Art from popular Shibhoshi NFTs will be also incorporated into the game and Shiba Inu will release a feature card collection as well as battle mechanics. The launch of the game is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023. Playside stated:
