Satoshi Treasure Scavenger Hunt Comes To College Campuses Soon

Satoshi Treasure scavenger hunt for more than $1 million worth of bitcoin, is coming to college campuses worldwide this fall as we can read in the latest cryptocurrency news today.

The game will be operated by a small company and it is sponsored by the Primitive Ventures and other prominent investors. There will also be hundreds of cryptographic keys around the world which will be hidden in puzzles and riddles and the first team to find the 400 of the key fragments will be able to claim the prize. According to one of the game’s creators Eric Meltzer, more than 100,000 people are now on the list of updates and announcements that are related to the clues and 40 of them have been released so far:

There will also be smaller rewards associated with the Satoshi Treasure scavenger hunt and also some self-custody workshops that will start and the end of September although the organizers will be still working for more details. The CEO of IDEX Alex Wearn explained that his exchange will also sponsor some of the workshops focused on the bitcoin wallets and decentralized exchanges. The head of the blockchain group at the University of Michigan Jonathan Calso, also stated that the sponsored meetups will benefit the student body by bringing hands-on learning opportunities to the campus and will give the students more credibility:

 “This helps us get more visibility from the engineering department, economics, and computer science departments as well. The clues incentivize you to discover new websites and tools … to play around with a bitcoin wallet a bit, to see what the technology can do.”
