The Electronics giant Samsung added NFT support to its 2022 TV Lineup including an NFT marketplace aggregator as well as a screen-based explorer. According to the press release from the South Korean giant, in 2022, Samsung will introduce the first TV-screen-based NFT explorer as well as a market aggregator which will be aground breaking platform that will allow you to browse, purchase and display your favorite art in one place. The platform will feature an intuitive platform for purchasing and discovering artwork via Samsung’s Micro LED, Frame TV Ranges, and NEO QLED. It will include the ability to preview NFT art before buying it and to explore its history and blockchain data. Samsung wrote in its announcement:
“With demand for NFTs on the rise, the need for a solution to today’s fragmented viewing and purchasing landscape has never been greater.”
Samsung also said the TVs will include support for smart calibration and will enable the NFT creators to create preset values for display settings. NFTs were the main talk of the town at Miami’s Art Basel while the art galleries around the world all fought over the question of how to display the NFT artworks.
