Rihanna Filed For Application To Offer Products In The Metaverse

Popular singer and entrepreneur Rihanna filed for an application to offer products in the Metaverse after she conquered the physical world already so let’s take a closer look at today’s latest altcoin news.

According to the US Trademark attorney Josh Gerben, the singer Rihanna filed for an application to offer her company’s products in a virtual format in the metaverse. In this way, she could be following many of the celebrity’s footsteps and brands from the fashion world like Victoria’s Secret and L’Oreal. Rihanna wants to expand her fashion empire into the metaverse and at the age of 34, she has eclipsed the music industry but also managed to create a fashion company that has a market value of 570 million dollars.

However, the physical world seems to not be enough for her as she now aims to dominate the web3 and bets to establish her brands in the metaverse. She filed a new trademark application saying that she will offer virtual cosmetics and hair products under the FENTY brand:

Even though she hasn’t revealed much, it could be presumed that one of the most attractive choices for artists is to enter into the metaverse via Decentraland because there are plenty of events in the sporting and music industry as well:

During the week, the users will be able to enjoy live presentations on the catwalk and purchase the products on display to dress their avatars. Other brands like Reebok, Puma, Nike, and Adidas already invested in the metaverse. Right now, celebrities are entering the metaverse via Decentraland or Sandbox and are looking for a new way to bring their product to people who can’t physically attend their stores or concerts. For example, Paris Hilton announced her new partnership with The Sandbox which caused the SAND token to surge by 8%.

As more popular artists like Rihanna or Snoop Dogg continue to enter the metaverse, the platforms could continue to grow and offer better experiences for the users.
