Ozzy Osbourne Joins The NFT Bandwagon With “CryptoBatz”

Ozzy Osbourne joined the NFT bandwagon with his new endeavor “CryptoBatz” as we are reading more today in our altcoin latest news.

Ozzy Osbourne announced that he will enter the crypto industry with the launch of his own NFT collection dubbed “Cryptobatz” and paid a tribute to one of the most iconic moments in music history. With the NFT debut, the former Black Sabbath singer joined a list of proponents that includes the American heavy metal bands Avenged Sevenfold and Megadeth among others. Osbourne’s entry into bats is not a first. His latest NFT collection was a reference to his infamous bat-biting incident which dated all the way back to his Iowa live performance in 1982 and right after the incident, he claimed that he thought the bat was a toy that was tossed by an audience member. However, now the Batz in his NFT collection is one of a kind.

Osbourne revealed that he had been trying to get in on the NFT auction for a while now and it was only after the many failed attempts of purchasing one that he decided to create one. He was quoted saying:

“I’ve been trying to get in on the NFT action for a while so when I asked Sharon for a Bored Ape for Christmas after several failed attempts of buying my own, and she said no, I decided to create my own.

CryptoBatz is a fucking mental project for NFT collectors and fans. The design pays tribute to one of my most iconic onstage moments and is a chance to acquire a rare piece of art history. I love it!”

Accoridng to the reports, the CryptoBatz range will feature more than 9666 unique NFT bats that will be released in January 2022, and in the meantime, the NFT collection pre-sale is open via the CryptoBatz Discord channel, and all interested users will be able to mint up to three NFTs per digital wallet after the minting goes live in February 2022. The music legend’s NFT collection is anything but mundane. CryptoBat came with a twist that shows a solid representation of a four-decade-old incident that is imprinted in the minds of metal fans worldwide.

Each CryptoBat will be able to “bite” another NFT in the users’ digital wallet but it doesn’t stop there. The owners will be able to mutate CryptoBatz with other collections and to create a new NFTs called MutantBatz. These “MutantBatz” will enable the users to integrate with NFTs from players in the space like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Cryptoadz, and SupDucks. As a part of the NFT release, Osbourne will launch a treasure hunt that will enable the holders of the NFTs to look after tokens across the globe. After discovering the AncientBat NFT, this will have the ability to bite other tokens up to 100 times as well as breed 100 MutantBatz.
