Adult film star Lana Rhoades deleted her account on Twitter after reportedly rug-pulling her own NFT project, saying she wants nothing to do with NFTs anymore, so let’s find out more in our latest cryptocurrency news.
The buyers of the Lana Rhoades’ CryptoSis NFT got very upset as the assets dropped in value after she touted them as an investment. Rhoades responded in a series of angry tweets before she decided to delete her account. Lana Rhoades had a huge following on social media but her Twitter account was deleted after she made a series of tweets criticizing her NFT project, CryptoSis. Some accused the NFT project of being a rug pull as the funds from the mint have been cashed out and Rhoades said that she will also delete her Discord app and distance herself from the proejct but the Discord group for the project is still active today.
Rhoades’ NFTs have a current floor price on OpenSea of 0.01 ETH which is below their ming price of 0.1 ETH. NFTs are blockchain tokens that represent ownership over an asset like digital art for example. She promoted her CryptoSis proejct on her Instagram profile which has 16.8 million followers as well as on her Twitter account that had 1.5 million followers. In her social media posts, she said she has planned to make her NFT project a lucrative investment for the holders and that her main focus was to increase their value. She also promised some other benefits like physical merchandise, direct interactions, and models in the metaverse.
However, things haven’t gone as planned. Rhoades said in her NFT proejct that it will probably sell out quickly. Rhoades continued to promise her community that her NFTs would be worth something and wrote:
“The value is going to go way up over the next few months.”
When the collection didn’t sell out, the total size was reduced to 6,969 and then reduced again to 6.069 to increase the chances of doing so. Rhoades tried to assure the community and wrote that she will be sold out by tomorrow. However, she walked the statement stating that she wasn’t sure she could turn the investment around or make people profit.

She also gave up on the proejct and said it was up to her community to bring value to the projects going forward.
In a response to YouTuber Coffeezilla’s video calling Rhoades’ CryptoSis project a rug pull, Rhoades published many angry tweets before deleting her account and even called the Youtubers “sickos” and said that they never will scam anyone because she doesn’t need to. She even said:
“Trust I want nothing to do with the space anymore.”
