FC Manchester City Added OKX Logo To Its New Training Apparel

FC Manchester City added the OKX Logo to the new training apparel as a part of the new sponsorship deal that was signed in March as we reported previously in our cryptocurrency news.

As a part of the sponsorship deal signed in March, the OKX logo will be featured on the FC Manchester City trading fear with the start of the new season. The English soccer team Manchester City is taking a shot at a crypto partnership a few months after cutting ties with the previous sponsors. The club announced that the crypto platform OKX will be on the official training kit for the upcoming season and the company will feature on both the men’s and women’s first team’s training kits.

The partnership with Manchester City provided the platform a great opportunity to educate those that are curious about crypto and can offer those already involved to take part reasonably according to the global chief marketing officer Haider Rafique. The announcement accompanies a series of artworks from Manchester City Players like signing Erling Haaland. OKX signed a sponsorship deal with Manchester City back in March not long after the club cut off its relations with 3Key Technologies.

To tie-up with the 3Key platform was ended after questions were raised about the company’s ownership. The experience doesn’t seem to have put Man City off the crypto space with the club’s chief operating officer Roel de Vries noting that Man City and OKX are aligned on the values like innovation and success and for both parties, everything starts with education. The announcement deepened the relationship between OKX and Man City and was last week announced as presenting partner for the team’s Trophy Rout 2022.

Soccer teams were leaning into crypto partnerships with projects in recent years and even the English Premier League filed two crypto trademarks in the US last month. The individual stars of the sport are getting involved with Christiano Ronaldo signing a new marketing deal with the crypto company Binance seeing several Ronaldo NFTs created. Rafique made a comparison:

“Being Man City’s Official Training Kit Partner helps us extend that mindset from the training ground over to our trading app community. We want our community to learn from that mindset and use our demo trading feature to train for the real exchange just like Man City players train before the beginning of the season.”
