The crypto miner Merkle will receive 4,449 S19 Pro cooling mining rigs from Bitmain in May this year. The company will be one of the first in the US to get the newest mining rigs that use liquid cooling technology. The new technology can reduce heat, power consumption, and noise as well as extend the lifespan of the machines.

California-based Merkle signed a deal with Bitmain as one of the world’s biggest BTC mining rig producers to get a shipment of the 4,449 of the newest mining computer by May this year and expects the machines to add another 840 petahash per second of mining power to the company as per a statement issued recently. The S19 Pro+ Hydro mining machines were recently revealed and have the most mining power among the current offerings by Bitmain of specialized mining rigs known as ASICs. Ruslan Zinurov as the CEO of Merkle Standard said in a statement:
“This order is a major milestone in the exponential growth of Merkle Standard and our partnership with Bitmain signifies our mission to develop sustainable and efficient operations, prioritizing the acquisition of high performing machines and embracing the latest technologies manufactured by our strategic partner Bitmain.”
Merkle also said that it had executed a purchase agreement with Bitmain for 13,500 ASIC miners that consisted of both the S19 XP and the S19J pro-mining rigs. Merkle also deploys all miners as a flagship data center in Eastern Washington which has about 225-megawatt capacity with potential to reach 500 MW. The miner also expects to be net carbon-negative and hit 4.6 exahash per second of mining power by the end of the year.
As recently reported, The Chinese manufacturer of crypto mining equipment has been forced to stop the businesses in China after the crypto ban imposed by the local authorities. In addition to China’s ban on crypto, the company attributed the move to stop shipping BTC and crypto mining rigs as the response to China’s carbon-neutral policies. The company has yet to reveal the plans to help existing customers in China, Bitmain halts the shipment of antminer rigs to the country but it will continue supplying to users acorss the world including Hong Kong and Taiwan.
