Cruise Ship Called Satoshi Will Become A Hub For Crypto Companies

A cruise ship under the name Satoshi, after bitcoin’s creator, will become a hub for digital nomads and crypto companies as we are reading more in today’s crypto news.

The former cruise ship built by P&O Cruises Australia will receive a new statute. Built-in 1991, the Pacific Dawn will maintain the seas with a new brand name- Satoshi. The plans are it will be an exquisite hub for digital nomads, crypto companies, and entrepreneurs. According to a report, the traveling vessel will remain floating with an exciting purpose. The company Ocean Builders are focused on constructing floating and off-grid seapod homes aiming to create a new dwell-like place in the ocean. It will serve as a technology incubator hub for ex-pats, digital nomads, and entrepreneurs.

Crypto companies will be able to test the innovations and technologies in a controlled environment according to Chad Elwartowski, the COO of Ocean Builders that are a key innovator in the project and an American Bitcoin entrepreneur:

 “We look forward to creating a hub for technology and innovation here in Panama. Our goal is to figure out how to live sustainably on the sea and chart new waters in this new frontier.”

The Crypto Cruise Ship will offer an option for residential vacation rentals like areas designated for research and office space as well as access to various amenities on vessels like restaurants, lounges, fitness centers, and casinos. The commercial spaces will be operated by individual companies that could get interested in living and working abroad.

Elwartowski said that the future crypto cruise ship will be delivered in the Mediterranean waters. Columbia Cruise Services will handle the management of operations of the ship and the vessel will be named Satoshi after the creator of Bitcoin. According to the report, the Crypto Cruise Ship will auction 200 of a total of 777 cabins to customers and residents. The goal is that parents and children will have their own space available with the balcony or an ocean view room. The purchase will give buyers full ownership of their cabin by paying a monthly fee to cover additional operating expenses. The hopes are that Satoshi will be available for residency as well as companies at the start of 2021.
