The Canadian company that bought 31 billion Shiba Inu tokens will now sue Shiba Inu’s team according to the latest reports that we have in today’s crypto news.
The Healthcare services company “Ask the Doctor” says that Shiba Inu is a fraudulent scheme because the founders haven’t revealed their identities. The Canadian company bought 31 billion Shiba Inu tokens to its balance sheet but the company’s support towards the meme coin didn’t last. The fact that Shiba Inu’s founders haven’t revealed their identities is why they called the project a scam and they even said they will take the case to court. The Toronto-based company “Ask The Doctor” seemed like a crypto-friendly company that supports a variety of digital assets and it purchased 31 billion SHIB tokens worth $1.5 million at the time of the deal.
The company disclosed that it holds BTC, ETH, ADA, DOT, DOGE, FLOKI, and MATIC and they believe that they should evolve alongside the technology as they said at the time. In a twist of events, “Ask The Doctor” withdrew its support for SHIBA describing the meme coin as a scam because Shytoshi Kusama and the other founders haven’t revealed their true identities. The Canadian company said it had eliminated SHIB off its balance sheet:
“Why is @ShytoshiKusama not revealing himself? Easier for scammers to hide from law enforcement and people coming after you? $shib is a scam #shibarmy, the 1% real is brainwashed and 99% is bots.

In the next few hours, “Ask The Doctor” launched a manifest as well as many tweets against Shiba Inu, and in one of them, they revealed that they sent emails to exchanges like Kraken, Binance, Crypto.com to delist SHIB from their platforms. The healthcare company claimed that the creators of the scam project Squid Game laundered some of the fraud proceeds by buying SHIB tokens. The change of heart came surprisingly because the company was an advocate for meme coins in the past.
Back in November, the Canadian company enabled users to pay in Dogecoin for medical assistance but shortly after the company asked the community whether to extend the crypto offerings and embrace Floki Inu and SHIB as payment methods as well. The overwhelming majority of the poll participants voted in favor but Ask The Doctor tweeted:
“Looks like we have to add SHIB as well […] Long live the memes!”
