Again BTC Rejected at $21K level while Lido surged by 20% in one day as the entire crypto market takes a breather from the rally a day ago so let’s read more today in our altcoin latest news.
BTC rejected at $21K level again and it is now trading below this level while most of the cryptocurrencies retracted after a meeting with the range resistances and the most evident outlier was LDO which increased 20% in the past day. The past 24 hours were quite tumulous as the entire market went on a wild ride. For once, BTC soared above $21K and reached a new high of $21,200 before being rejected and dropping to where it trades near $20,600.
The rollercoaster left a total of $136 million worth of liqudations in the past day and it was the single liquidation order that happened on OKX that carried a face value of $2.1 million. ETH is in the lead as well when it comes to forced liqudations with $71 million which is actually more than twice compared the BTC liquidations. Most of the alternative coins are trading in the red once again after failing to sustain the gains made intraday and getting rejected from the respective range resistance.
As seen in the heatmap, ADA is down 1.7% and SOL is down by 3.%% so the major cryptocurrencies that tarted in the green, are charting insignificant increases. The most obvious outlier and the expectation is Lido’s LDO Token with the cryptocurrency being up by 20% in the past day. The sentiment seems to be improving a bit and despite the fact that it is still in fear territory, the value sits at 21 which is a considerable improvement from the previous 1 5 levels.
As earlier reported, The veteran derivatives trader Peter Brandt believes BTC may drop to $13K while in the meantime, the cryptocurrency seems to be at a tipping point and trading above $20K. Brandt is a well-known derivatives trader with 50 years of experience and he is also a popular crypto commentator. He came up with a prediction that the next target for BTC could be around the $13,000 level
