The world’s biggest crypto mining rig producer Bitmain claims the new liquid cooling mining rig has the most efficient and powerful model among all of the company’s models. The new Antminer S19 XP Hyd boasts 255 terahash/second of computing power at 20.8 joules per terahash of power efficiency and runs on 5,304 watts. The cost is under $20,000 per unit and can ship during the first quarter of 2023 according to the site.

The energy efficiency beats Bitmain’s previous best which is the Antminer S19 XP brings up to 140 TH/s at 21.5 J/T at $11,620 and the MicroBT one is the Whatsminer M30S++ that delivers 112 TH/s with an efficiency of 31 J/TH. The hydro cooling rigs are designed to be used in the Bitmain containers. Liquid cooling is a method of using liquid like a cooling agent that will go through pipes and will release heat from the machine. The company announced the new container as well dubbed the ANTSPACE HK3 which fits 210 mining machines and spends up to 1 megawatt of power. Back in January, Bitmain announced the Antminer S19 PRo+ Hyd that was the first one to come with liquid cooling and delivers up to 198 TH/s at 27.5 J/T.

The crypto-miner Merkle will receive 4,449 S19 Pro cooling mining rigs from Bitmain in May this year. The company will be one of the first in the US to get the newest mining rigs that use liquid cooling technology. The new technology can reduce heat, power consumption, and noise as well as extend the lifespan of the machines.

California-based Merkle signed a deal with Bitmain as one of the world’s biggest BTC mining rig producers to get a shipment of the 4,449 of the newest mining computer by May this year and expects the machines to add another 840 petahash per second of mining power to the company as per a statement issued recently. The S19 Pro+ Hydro mining machines were recently revealed and have the most mining power among the current offerings by Bitmain of specialized mining rigs known as ASICs.
