BigQuery by Google, just added an analytic tool for Polygon, ethereum’s leading scaling solution as we read more about it in our latest ethereum news today.
The scaling solution Polygon will now be inspected using Google’s big data warehouse BigQuery. The data from the blockchain of Polygon will be uploaded and analyzed using the services by BigQuery and will grant users access to in-depth analytics that are related to the network. The service is actually a serverless data warehouse that is developed by Google and allows users to analyze a lot of information and in this way, Polygon sees itself as an Internet of Blockchain with goals to bring massive scale to Ethereum.
According to the announcement, the integration of Polygon Blockchain Datasets will enable “the querying and analysis of on-chain data on Polygon in a simple, organized manner using Google Cloud.” For example, the users will be able to monitor the gas costs and the smart contracts activity in time and will determine the active and popular tokens, contracts, applications, or more, and will gain access to multi-chain analysis for SDKs. The tool will enable integration with more financial record processing systems. Alex Svanevik who is the CEO of Nansen.ai also has a polygon dashboard and has engineers that developed the solution that allows ingesting a blockchain data into BigQuery saying that the integration is a huge step in the development of the network’s ecosystem:
“Being able to do analytics on public blockchains is important for transparency. In fact, easily accessible on-chain data is one of the cornerstones of any blockchain ecosystem. The BigQuery dataset is a great addition to Polygon’s growing ecosystem, and I’m delighted that Nansen could implement an open-source solution together with Polygon, Google, and Helix.”
He added that while Nansen already made use of the dataset to create a Polygon ecosystem dashboard, the platform will have much more data coming to Nansen in the next few weeks. In the dashboard, the users can see how fast the ecosystem is growing and which projects get used the most:
“This dataset is part of a larger effort to make cryptocurrency data available in BigQuery through the Google Cloud. The program is hosting a number of real-time cryptocurrency datasets, with plans to expand offerings to include additional distributed ledgers.”
