The popular NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club – BAYC partnered with Rolling Stone, the popular American magazine, to release a special edition of digital collectibles and this marks the second collaboration between these two parties in a span of a year. The monthly magazine that focuses on music, culture, and politics hopped on the NFT train and joined forces with BAYC and auctioned two digital magazine covers but also released a 2500 limited edition paper in a physical form featuring Bored Ape images on the cover page.

BAYC disclosed the second partnership with the magazine to launch a BAYC NFT and a Mutant Ape Yacht Club one. In a recent tweet, we can read that the sale of the digital collectibles is scheduled for June 22 and it will go hand in hand with the sale of other digital artwork and can be bought for APE worth $100.
The popular collection emerged as the most influential proejct in the NFT sector and depicts different caricatures of monkeys that turned out to be an intriguing niche for investors. At the start of 2022, the founder of Reddit Alexis Ohanian gifted his wife Serena Williams a bored ape NFT but didn’t say how much he spent on it. A few days later, Canadian singer Justin Bieber joined the club by spending 500 ETH to buy an ape and at the moment of the transaction, the purchase was worth up to $1.3 million.
Madonna was another artist that purchased a BAYC NFT for 180 ETH and the move created huge controversy among her fans as some praised her decision to join the NFT craze.
As recently reported, In a bid to rehabilitate her image, the fake heiress Anna Sorokin is getting into the NFT space. The “Anna Card” went live today follwoing a 2000-item collection which can be purchased for 0.1 ETH at press time. FNTs are blockchain-based tokens that show ownership over digital or physical assets. While in federal custody, Sorokin said that she is making NFTs for her fans.
