Dr Disrespect announces NFT Game that garners some criticism, while Shiba Inu unveils the name of their mobile NFT Game as Shib Eternity.
On July 30, gaming YouTuber “Dr Disrespect” released the first trailer for his upcoming NFT shooting game called Deadrop.
The first reaction has been mixed, with some disappointed by the game’s lack of polish given that Dr Disrepect announces the NFT Game in a now-deleted Tweet from June that it “already blows out anything” from the Call of Duty game engine. This garnered criticism.
The game now “looks like an arcade shooter at Chuck E. Cheese,” said user @Jonesy Actual, while @MemeCyptum responded sarcastically: “Dr Disrespect tried building an NFT shooter and it looks like a**? I’m shocked I tell you, absolutely shocked.”
However, some have urged patience because the game is still in its early phases of development and is likely to experience numerous alterations before it is finished.
“Lol this is so early in development yet people still need to hate?

At least he is being clear about development, showing each stage as it comes. Just hating on the game for the sake of it clearly,” wrote @L1GHTNING96.
The early video depicts a basic first-person shooter game in which the player runs and shoots targets at a shooting range.
Users of the new game should be able to digitally own awards and in-game objects thanks to NFTs.
According to the Midnight Society website, the 10,000 tokenized Founders Passes, which came with playable Deadrop avatars, were recently sold out. The NFTs also grant early access to the game, voting privileges over the incorporation of game enhancements, and a number of other advantages. The Polygon-based NFTs were used to raise money for the game’s creation and sold for $50 each.
New Shiba Inu Game
In collaboration with PlaySide Studios, the company behind the Shiba Inu (SHIB) memecoin has unveiled the title of the project’s future mobile NFT game.
Shiba Eternity is the name of the game, and the SHIB team said that it will be accessible on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. It will work with its Shiboshi NFTs and is being created as part of the project’s larger objective of creating a Metaverse ecology.
There will be two versions of the game: a standard free-to-play mobile game and one that includes NFTs and play-to-earn elements.
