Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone will launch an NFT collection featuring Rocky and Rambo and will offer exclusive perks for its holders including meet and greet with the actor himself so let’s read more in today’s latest altcoin news.
Sylvester Stallone will join the list of celebrities selling NFTs to their fans and he created the “planetSky” collection that is composed of 9,997 digital “SlyGuys” that is set to launch next month. Stallone introduced a new collection in an Instagram post which was curated by himself saying that each NFT features artwork inspired by the various movie roles in his career. According to the website, the NFTs were produced in collaboration with Clark Mitchell who worked with Star Wars and Marvel. Each includes over 200 attributes that range from his boxing gloves to weapons that he used and the actor even said that they are inspired by his love for both art and comic books.
“Every NFT is unique. NFTs are so much more than just digital collectibles. Slyguys has a roadmap that goes the distance – all the way.”
He referred to the perks available to the collection’s holders including merch and membership to real-life events. This could even mean dinners, meet and greets, and cocktail nights with the actor. 25 of the NFTs will be extra special “golden Signature SLYGuys” that will be individually autographed and numbered by the actor himself and they will come with their own unique set of utilities and auctioned on OpenSea. The NFTs will be sold on ETH up and the actor encouraged his followers to set up a MetaMask Wallet to purchase the NFTs.
NFTs prove to be quite simple and useful for celebrities to make a profit and to connect with fans. Rapper Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa also released a collab set of music NFTs based on the Bored Ape Yacht Club Collection. A week ago, the streamer Dr. Disrespect established similar NFTs exclusive to his fans. Just like Stallone’s they will feature real=life perks and include voting rights that pertain to the development of the upcoming game from the streamer.
Even for celebrities that don’t market their own collections, music sensations like Eminem and Justin Bieber joined the BAYC club while other sportsmen made NFTS their profile pictures.
