Chainlink partners with IOTEX in order to enable creators to build their ideas and tackle complex issues that are impossible to solve otherwise so let’s find out more in today’s Chainlink news.
Chainlink partners with IOTEX to enable developers to build on the latter’s blockchain platform and smart contract applications with access to real-world data and off-chain computation. IOTEX will integrate the Chainlink decentralized oracle technology onto the blockchain network. Both of the projects made huge progress in bringing valuable and reliable data from the blockchain space and applying it to the real-world use case so pairing it with the historical data with IOTEX’s real-world data in real-time is what makes the projects powerful duo.
The IOTEX and Chainlink collaboration includes Protofire receiving a Chainlink community grant for the project and Protofire is tasked with the native integration and verification of the Chainlink contracts to make them compatible with the IOT blockchain network which will also create instructionals for developers that want to integrate Chainlink into the IOTEX network. Protofire is a recognized blockchain developer with experience in building decentralized protocols, smart contracts, and developer tools and contributed to a lot of projects like Tezos, Maker, and Gnosis. The head of Blockchain Partnerships Nikki Ariyasinghe said:
“We’re excited to be working with the IoTeX and Protofire teams. The three teams are working closely together to enable Chainlink oracles to run natively on IoTeX.”
Cartesi and IoTeX partnered in December as well and with Cartesi’s technology and the IOTEX infrastructure, the performing technical integrations will enable the teams to address a sophisticated IOT-oriented solution. The CEO of Cartesi Erick De Moura noted:
“IoTex is an environmentally friendly-oriented blockchain. We combine their blockchain technology, expertise on IoT, and hardware devices with our Layer-2 environmentally friendly blockchain agnostic technology. The integrated framework will promote a more powerful development framework for our communities, developers, and any companies interested in building fully trusted IoT solutions.”
Cartesi is the first operating system on the blockchain as it brings Web2 developer tools to a blockchain environment like Linux and other services. This breaks down a huge barrier for non-blockchain developers to enter the space and to build next-gen Dapps by using their software components. The IOTEX powered machines and devices produce information that can be used in smart contracts for more functionality and the real-time data can be cross-referenced with the Chainlink historical data to calculate other insights or analytics.
